You may want to prioritise proximity to the historic harbour and coastline if you’re looking to buy a holiday home or seasonal investment property.

If you’re looking for a more rural experience near Poole rather than the harbour or town atmosphere, it’s worth checking out properties for sale in Hamworthy, Upton, Lytchett Bay and Lytchett Minster. The surroundings of these locations are both coastal and more reminiscent of leafier areas of idyllic Dorset.
